Stages of Application: Approval, Denied, Pending, Validated, Etc. What does it mean?

  1. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests awaiting review
    1. We have received your application and it is currently in queue for assessment. You will be notified should we need to collect additional information.
  2. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests awaiting lessor approval
    1. Notice has been emailed to the landlord and action is required on their behalf. They must validate your application from within their email browser.
  3. Rent & Damage Guarantee claims pending tenant approval
    1. Notice has been emailed to the tenant and action is required on their behalf. They must validate the application and confirm that the information presented is correct. This can be done from within the tenant’s email browser.
  4. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests denied by lessor
    1. Your landlord has chosen to not validate the application. This could be due to invalid information or failure to meet requirements. Please check with your landlord for clarification.
  5. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests cancelled by the tenant
    1. The tenant has chosen not to validate the application. This could be due to invalid information, or they have chosen to not go through with the Rent & Damage guarantee.
  6. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests denied by the tenant
    1. The tenant has chosen not to validate the application. This could be due to invalid information, or they have chosen to not go through with the Rent & Damage guarantee.
  7. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests cancelled due to expiry
    1. The application was not validated within the 7-day window and has therefore been cancelled. The hold on your credit card was released. If you would still like to proceed with a Rent & Damage guarantee, you will have to re-start the application process.
  8. Renewed Rent & Damage Guarantee
    1. Your Rent & Damage guarantee has been renewed and payment has been processed successfully.
  9. Terminated Rent & Damage Guarantee
    1. Your Rent & Damage guarantee has been terminated with written consent from the landlord. This could be due to a change of address and/or the landlord no longer requiring you to have a Rent & Damage guarantee.Activated Rent & Damage guarantees aborted by Locnest before started or notBy request, Locnest has aborted the Rent & Damage guarantee and it is no longer valid
  10. Rent & Damage Guarantees in default of payment upon renewal
    1. The payment on the renewal of your Rent & Damage guarantee was not successfully processed. Please update your payment method. Failure to do so will result in collections
  11. Rent & Damage Guarantee requests (tenant & lessor) not approved by Locnest
    1. Your Rent & Damage guarantee was denied by Locnest upon failure to meet solvency requirements. At this time, we will be unable to issue you a Rent & Damage guarantee.
  12. Rent & Damage Guarantees awaiting additional documents
    1. Your application for the Rent & Damage guarantee was pushed to manual review. As such, we require additional documents to assess the file. Please check your email and provide us with the requested.
